Coffee, original from Ethiopia, a country with whom the Portuguese related since the Age of Discoveries at the end of the XV century. This long relationship drives us to introduce coffee throughout Europe and to develop its harvesting in Brazil and other African colonies of the past.
AN HERITAGE WITH 70 YEARS OF HISTORY
In the Portuguese city of Coimbra, a secular city, in 1944 there was a small shop that toasted and ground coffee making its own blends. Its owner saw in the coffee a source of creativity that never stop to developed. Earning more and more customers, its business expands to the present modern plant of today. Now as in the past, despite the advance technology that we have, we are faithful to the tradition of the past, choosing the best grain, from the selected origin to the roasting art and care that we pack for you.

Under the watchful eye of our “torrefator” master, with us for more than 40 years, we are pioneers in the artisanal coffee roaster in Portugal.
Our 100% natural coffee, comes from 20 different origins, selected over 70 years of tradition.
The mixture of grains of different selected origins, combined in the exact ratio, is essential for enhancing the most appreciated sensory characteristics. Only this combination of acidity, body and aroma allows to obtain the unique flavor of the ideal drink for each moment.
The Roasting point is crucial in determining the correct aromas and flavors of the coffee. It is a delicate process in which each grain gradually caramelizes, acquiring the desired aroma and flavor revealing its aromas and secrets.
